Is home a feeling? A memory? Or a place? 

In this short documentary, the filmmaker accompanies her father on the travel to the house he grew up in the town of Klintsy in Russia. It used to be a vibrant city but now appears as an emptying small town not far from the border with Ukraine. Affected by the fallout cloud from the Chernobyl accident in 1986 and the current war between Russia and Ukraine, this city represents the phenomena of emptiness spread around Eastern Europe and worldwide. This film looks at the consequences of the catastrophic nuclear incident and war through the lens of depopulation and emptying space, highlighting the dynamic world of survival that remains.
